• Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program (AMI): Middle East Utility Company.
  Primary role: Deployment Management of a 10 million Smart Electrical Meters and Communications Infrastructure programme.
  Scope of program included: Designing and operationalisation of a state-of-the-art Programme Management Office for the Smart Meter rollout, Meter Data Management System (MDMS) implementation, Smart Meter Operations Centre (SMOC) implementation, Business Process design and implementation, OT and IT system changes as per Business Processes, i.e.: mandate, organisation and governance, Roles and Responsibilities of all stakeholders according to PM best practices, milestones, KPIs, etc. to ensure all vendors execute their work in accordance with contractual requirements. • Development of various Operational Control Frameworks and performing Internal Audits against these frameworks at: a Rail Company – all Operational Divisions (i.e. Freight Rail, Rail Engineering, Port Terminals, Ports Authority and Pipe Lines, covering many rail depots and all the major ports). Some notable projects included the following: Export commodity line – Amongst other things, developed and provided the client with a ‘tool’ enabling real time asset movement visibility from a centralized position (between all the various Operational Divisions), resulting in the enhancement of on-time arrivals and departures and subsequently also in increased revenue through increased volumes delivered. Export commodity line – Assisted with design, commissioning and training of operators, for a web-based Train Crew Monitoring ‘tool’ which shows the status (e.g. actual time left on shift, ETAs, etc.) of all train crew on a real-time basis, taking all deviations into consideration. This ultimately resulted in less trains being cancelled due to better train crew management (increased volumes delivered and revenue collected)
